On the Way to the Recording Studio
There is not much time left to get to the recording studio. Ernie is in a hurry, he hates being late. The car ride takes us past a small ranch. Ernie spots a young pony and is instantly taken by it.
He comes to a halt. The owner had left the pregnant animal at the ranch. Before long she had given birth. "Have you got a name for it yet?" Ernie wants to know. "No, after all, it isn't ours," came the answer. Shortly afterwards the owner is on the phone and agrees to it being called "Ernie". Since then Ernie always drives past his namesake. "I'll miss the pony when one day I won't be able to see it any more."
